1. Mail (from Matthew C. Civis Sr.)

Hi, my name is Matthew;

So far I like what I see on your site. We seem to be real close to the same understanding of God if not right on. I have trouble with writting it out and will keep working on that. And I have changes that need to be made to my site.

I have just found some nice free bible software that I just Love.
http://www.crosswire.org
http://www.e-sword.net

http://www.isr-messianic.org/ John 1:1 reads like this,

" In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. 2 He was in the beginning with Elohim. 3 All came to be through Him,1 and without Him not even one came to be that came to be. Footnote: 1Eph. 3:9, Col. 1:16, Heb. 1:2, Heb. 11:3, 2 Peter 3:5, Ps. 33:6."

I have also read most of the so called lost books, I found them without to much trouble, so I don't think they were lost. A good place to find them is
http://www.ecmarsh.com/

Thanks for your work, its nice to know I am not the only one that wants to God for myself not what others want me to believe.

2. Mail (to Matthew C. Civis Sr. )

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for your nice comments.

I looked at the web addresses you suggested and the e-Sword web site got me interested and I loaded down the software and started to study it and I am very impressed and I just stopped studying it to write these lines to thank you for this suggestion. That was very kind of you and you have been a blessing to me.

I read a little bid on your website. In your mail to me you write, “I have trouble with writing it out and will keep …” You know from my writings that I am used to measure faith and I just can’t help it but this business of measuring seems to always be there and therefore I suggest that you replace the phrase, “I have trouble with writing it out,” with the following phrase: “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.” And after I wrote this last sentence down I went to the new Bible software e-Sword and tried it out by searching for “strengtheneth” and so came quickly to Philippians 4:13 and the KJV text is: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” So my memory is still quite good but this software of yours is better. Start to rather quote such scriptures and you will feel the difference. The little I read on your website was quite refreshing and that is what the world needs to hear. This story where the sentence appears, “And my answer came for some old German women that stood up right behind me and with the deepest, clearest voice said “I am the Lord Thy GOD and THIS IS OF ME!!!”” is quite a powerful testimony and such things grip people and such personal testimonies are very effective. So don’t worry about details and just keep doing what your heart tells and urges you to do.

I returned to your website to read some more.

Is Matthew and Matt Civis the same person? Is Matthew the author of the website www.we-have-a-voice.com and is Matt Civis his son?

I just read “Signs of the Truth” on your website and found it to be very good. This is a subject I am busy with as well and I think will become more important in the future because many believers will have problems distinguishing between the things that come from God the things that come from his opponent and the more we approach the end the more we will need to know what truth really is.

Your “My Story” is very powerful.

While I was thinking about you and your writings the Matthew of the Bible came to mind and how Matthew is described in Jakob Lorber’s “Great Gospel of John.” There Jesus met two with the name of Matthew. The first one was a scribe and wrote down many things he saw and heard and became the author of the Gospel of Matthew, and a little bit later Jesus met the second Matthew and also this one became his disciple and then also became one of the Twelve. The second one was one of the young men who lowered their relative through the roof down to Jesus. They were eight brothers and the sick man was the brother of their mother. And he was a publican who could see through the falseness of the traditions of the Pharisees and could see beyond it. When they were lowering the man down the report is as follows about this Matthew as he addresses the complaining Pharisees:

Says the former, smart speaker: “Just a little bit patience, you will see right away! See, today is Sabbath; on this day usually salvation comes from above as you teach it in the Synagogues and schools! But this time the salvation of men is below and so now one comes who still has no salvation from above down to you and will seek there below his salvation. So nothing adverse to Sabbath happens here; because that will still all be the same whether salvation comes from above down on a Sabbath or whether someone seeks salvation below when it before him already came down out of heaven to the blind men, which are not able to see it, even so they already bump their noses into it.” (jl.ev01.116,10)

So this second Matthew also had a nice and lively way of expressing himself.

All the best to you from

Frank
