Jesus' sayings regarding the Pharisees

In chapter 8. Watch Out! of our book "The Man-Made Church" we pointed out that 30% of the sayings of Jesus are dealing with Pharisees and on this webpage we have listed these verses.

The following table shows all the verses in the Gospel of Matthew where Jesus is speaking and in addition those where Jesus talks about the Pharisees, hypocrites etc.

In a Red Letter Edition of the Bible the passages where Jesus is speaking are printed in red and are therefore easy to recognize and it is these parts that are here listed first and from these those are then selected which deal with the Pharisees.

The table shows the verses and in addition the number of verses, and the totals of the number of verses are then shown at the end.

Now one characteristic feature of these 196 verses is that your chances are very low that today’s Pharisees, the little Antichrists that preach on Sunday mornings in the man-made churches, will pick these verses, or few of them, or one of them, to preach and talk about and to explain.

So when you listen to a preacher in church or on the radio or on TV or on a tape or a video then listen how often he mentions the things Jesus has to say about the hypocrites. The less he talks about these passages in the Bible the more you have a chance to listen to one of these hypocrites.
