Astronomical question and answer 260

Frank L. Preuss

What are small distances and what are big distances?

Have a look at the distance table: Distance table

When you now travel from the centre of an electron to its end, then you have covert a distance of 2.82 x 10-18 km.

When you travel from here to the edge of the visible universe, then you have covert a distance of 124 x 1023 km.

How long do such journeys take?

When you stay in the world of matter, then one can calculate that. When you soar up into the spiritual world, then one can also calculate that, but it is easy, for we have just done it. It has taken just a moment, and we were here at the beginning of that moment; and at the end of that moment we were already at the end of the visible universe, and then also immediately back again.

This gives you an impression of the difference.

This thing with time and space is just a thing in the material world. And perhaps even only a thing here in our world here on this earth.

In other universes, and perhaps even on other celestial bodies here in our universe, it may be quite different.

The scientists find it difficult with thinking. That is exactly such a thing as consciousness. They shrink from it. Quantum physics shows them that everything is about consciousness, and they also do it the whole day, the thinking and this being conscious, also when they sleep, but they do not deal with it.

The thinking, and the transference of this thinking, is timeless. Both have nothing to do with time and space. When we sleep, and dream, we are in a completely different world, but conscious.

The whole coming into being of this physical world comes from consciousness and thinking.

When we transfer thoughts from here to a faraway celestial body, then that is a completely timeless matter.

Just do a thought concerning the influence of matter, the influence of matter on spiritual things. The nucleus of an atom is in the same ratio to the atom like a marble to a soccer field. And the space between the two is empty. And the nucleus of an atom is actually also no real matter. So everything is really empty. Matter does not actually really exist at all. That is all just whirling around energy. And it is completely determined by the spiritual side of life.
