. . . the Sephiroth as a series of states of inner being that have the same objective existence as the planets in our solar system. The Cabbalist is a space traveller who flies from one to the other. Each planet has its own individual life system, totally unlike all the others. But the twenty-two 'paths' between the 'planets' are the subjective states of mind along which the traveller must go to achieve the different worlds.
