This is the 46. Chapter of "The Man-Made Church"
by Frank L. Preuss
That is the Catholic Church.
The oldest, biggest and worst terror organization.
The Catholic Church is the oldest organization of the world. No other organization is that old as the Catholic Church. And because it is a terror organization, it is automatically also the oldest terror organization.
The oldest local Catholic Church documented is the one in Laodicea. It is mentioned in the Bible. In Colossians it is mentioned five times and once in 1 Timothy 6:21 and in Revelation twice, where Jesus says that “I will spue thee out of my mouth.”
The bad circumstances in the church of Laodicea Paul describes in his letter to them. This was dealt with in detail in the 21st chapter of this book “The Man-Made Church”: 21. Meditation.
There Paul takes up the bad details, which this first Catholic Church had to show.
And the first Catholic is described in detail by John the Evangelist and that in his three letters, which are in the Bible. There John shows that the Catholic Church was a product of Antichrist right from the start because these letters of John are the only books of the Bible who contain the word Antichrist. There the first Catholic is mentioned by name, Diotrephes, and John clearly describes the relationship of Diotrephes to Antichrist and the main characteristic of Diotrephes, and thus of Antichrist, is: he loveth to have the preeminence in the church.
Diotrephes, the first Catholic, wants to be first in the assembly.
That is the most outstanding characteristic of a Catholic leader: he wants to be first in the church.
And the second characteristic, which follows immediately to John 3:9, in John 3:10, is the terroristic fighting against the true church: prating against it with malicious words – to slander it and to persecute it.
This was dealt with in the 27th chapter of this book “The Man-Made Church”: 27. Diotrephes, the Man of Orthodoxy.
The coming into being of the Catholic Church is quite well documented in the Bible, one just has to understand it, read the Bible right, and a spiritual awakened Christian will have no difficulties there to see there the nature and the coming into being of the Catholic Church, and especially also the end of the Catholic Church, which is presented in Revelation in detail.
And this is the reason why the Catholic Church is so against reading the Bible. But we will come back to this later.
The removal and destruction of Paul’s letter to the Laodiceans was an early act of the Catholic Church of destroying the word of God.
And the Catholic Church is the biggest Terrorist-Organization. It is represented everywhere. There is hardly any inhabited area on earth where this organization is not represented.
Their churchmen are to be found everywhere and their cleric castles can be seen in most cities of the world.
The properties this church owns, the pieces of land and buildings, are of enormous extent.
That the Catholic Church is the worst terror organization on earth is emphasized through words like crusades, inquisition, heresy, heretic, persecution, torture and stake. And in this century it became known that the Catholic Church rapes children, and that it does worldwide and has always done. Alone this raping of children, which continuous unimpeded, and takes place to an extent that practically no Catholic priest is not participating in these crimes, is enough proof to declare the Catholic Church to be the oldest, biggest and worst terror organization, because the John Jay report, which the Catholic Church itself has drawn up and which it offers again and again as source of information, has established that 4 per cent of Catholic priests are known child abusers, and when one then takes as one’s starting point that for every known child abuser there are 60 unknown ones, then there are, of 100 priests, 240 child abusers.
Alone when one imagines that practically all Catholic priest are taking part in the raping of children, and that also applies, as the last years have shown, to all their superiors like bishops, cardinals and popes, then one can assess the extent of this terror, and recognize that no other terror organization equals the Catholic Church and that it is totally leading.
I now want to come back to the suppression of Bible reading of the Catholic Church and there it is about quite generally the suppression of the word of God and therefore about the suppression of God himself, which is the main interest of Antichrist.
I now bring quotes from an article that deals with this:
Bible
Reading prohibited
In the Middle Ages the Bible remains reserved for the clergy; translations are regarded as devil’s work. Nevertheless a number of Christians transferred the book of books into the language of the people already before Luther
Before the great reformer, the advocates of the Bible for the people had to fear of being persecuted by the inquisition.
The idea of the religiously shaped Middle Ages often is accompanied by the assumption it was about an age of the Bible. But up to the 15th century very few knew the book of books out of their own reading. The reason was not just that a big part of society could not write or at least were not conversant with Latin and therefore dependant on picture Bibles, the so-called biblia pauperum (Bibles of the poor). Until into the late Middle Ages there were also again and again suppressions for laymen to read Holy Scripture. The church did not want to give up its interpretation monopoly.
Single parts of the Bible were certainly already transmitted into Old and Middle High German in the early Middle Ages and at the start of the High Middle Ages, but monks made these translations, that means: The first priority was not directed towards laymen, but clerics. It was about selected books of the Old Testament or about summaries of the Gospels, which in the main were also commented on. Around 870 Otfrid von Weißenburg, named after his place of work, the monastery Weißenburg in the Alsace, created with his Gospel Book an Old High German transference, which combined after-fiction and interpretation.
In the trend of religious movements of the 12th and 13th century, however, also laymen started to be interested in the Bible, and for the first time demands became known to interpret it oneself. The church vehemently rejected this. 1199 Innocent III prohibited the reading of the Bible at private meetings, and on the synod in Toulouse 1229, meeting under the leadership of Gregory IX, laymen were prohibited to possess the Old and the New Testament with the exception of the Psalms and the Breviers (the Hour Book). 1234 on the synod of Tarragona the Spanish bishops declared everyone to be a heretic who owned a Roman translation of the Holy Scriptures and did not hand it in for burning within eight days after the announcement of the decree.
These prohibitions were connected with the fact that the movements of that time denounced as heretic, especially the Cathari and Waldenses, referred directly to the Bible and made translations to enable laymen access to the word of God, which was not blocked through the institutions of the church. Also in the 14th century such prohibitions were repeatedly renewed, and that always then when laymen claimed to want to read and interpret the Bible themselves. So Emperor Charles IV enacted 1369 an edict, on request of Pope Urban V, which forbade German writings to Bible exegesis. 1376 Pope Gregory XI decreed, writings about the Bible are only allowed to be composed and spread under the leadership of the church. Biblical knowledge was supposed to be imparted to laymen predominantly via preaching and therefore be embedded in a context, which emphasized the sovereignty of interpretation of the church.
This did not prevent Wenzel, the son of the Roman German King of Charles IV, to let a German translation of a splendid manuscript be sumptuously illustrated and embellished with more than 650 miniatures between 1390 and 1400.
The Wenzel Bible was perhaps planned as full Bible, though it was not finished, what was presumably connected with the fact that Wenzel was deposed as German king in the year 1400; some smaller books of the Old Testament are missing and especially the New Testament. In spite of this the book shows that also high noble laymen, who always employed court chaplains at their courts, had an interest in German Bible renderings. Such splendid manuscripts were, even so they represented a translated text, of course very much less orientated at the wording of Holy Scriptures than the popular language versions, which increasingly spread in urban circles, which meant a new devoutness beyond church supervision.
First beginnings to a new total translation of the Biblical text into German are found in the 14th century, first in the surroundings of the Dominicans and the German Order. But besides more and more lay Bibles came into being in the whole of Europe, therefore from laymen produced renderings of the Latin Vulgate, and some of their authors also got down to the total text – with Old and New Testament. On various occasions the 14th century has for that reason also been called the "Century of the Lay Bible". Most of the translators remained anonymous due to feared persecution through the inquisition, but the numerous violations of the prohibition of translating and commenting make it clear, how far interested laymen had already emancipated themselves from the church regulations and raised an own demand for interpretation.
Only Luther manages to achieve the Bible for the people
The probable most important Bible translator of the 14th century is an Austrian, who is not mentioned by name, whose translation, handed down in different parts, almost contains the entire Bible text. In his preface to the book Ecclesiastes (the Preacher Solomon) he wrote, many simple laymen would understand Holy Scriptures more perfect and more exact than a number of clerics, because those certainly claim only they would understand the word of God, but they never really dealt with it.
Such church critical remarks, which feed themselves especially from the reading of the New Testament, were also of great importance for the reformer Jan Hus, who was sentenced on the Council of Constance and the English theologian John Wycliffe, who already 1384 had died, but whose writings were condemned on the council and whose remains were burned posthumously.
Wycliffe had 1383 finished a rendering of the Bible into English based on earlier productions, and Hus revised a translation produced about 1360 into the Czech language; the result of this work appeared though only 1488 in print. As Wycliffe, whose propositions he thoroughly received, Hus was of the conviction that Christian faith has in the first priority the Holy Scripture as base, and therefore complained that "the priests, scribes and other heads with might work that the common people do not come to the knowledge of Scripture". They "do not like to see that men, who are not priests, know the Holy Scripture. And they prevent them, as Christ says Matt. 23, that they do not come into the kingdom of heaven; that means, that they do not read the Holy Scripture and also do not understand it." This, so Hus, they only did out of self-use so that "the people do not realize the errors during preaching and […] because they fear that they no longer are honoured by the laymen when they would like to read the Holy Scriptures".
The questions negotiated at the Council of Constance show that the first Bible translations developed their effect into the language of the people already one century before Martin Luther. Luther himself understood himself then also not as by chance as that successor of Jan Hus, whom he himself had announced shortly before his burning on the Constance Council: "Now you burn a goose", he shouted in allusion to the meaning of his name, "but out of its ashes a swan will emerge."
The determining characteristic of Antichrist will be the suppression of the word of God and this suppression of the word of God was also his aim for 2000 years – through the Catholic Church, the most important tool of Antichrist.
